Forty applications, one founder, and no time for forty phone screens. Send one link, let candidates answer your questions by voice from their phone, and read the transcripts between meetings.
No credit card for the trial. Candidates never create an account, which is why 85% or more of the people who open a Hirevire link finish it.
Video interviews ask a warehouse applicant to find a quiet, well-lit room and face a lens. Audio asks them to press record. For the four situations here, that difference is the whole completion rate.
Audio is one response type among eight in Hirevire. Mix it with a multiple-choice knockout question, a text answer, or a video question in the same interview.
Support agents, SDRs, receptionists, and account managers spend the day on calls. Two minutes of them explaining a refund policy tells you more than a CV ever will.
Drivers, care workers, and warehouse staff apply from a phone in a car park. Audio records on a cheap Android with no camera worries, so they answer instead of bouncing.
Hiring a Spanish-speaking nurse or a German-speaking support rep? Ask one question in that language and hear the answer, with a transcript in the same language beside it.
Reviewers read the transcript first and play the audio second. Nobody's bedroom background or webcam lighting gets a vote, so the first impression is the answer itself.
Read a two-minute answer in twenty seconds, then play only the part where the candidate describes handling an angry customer. Transcription covers 90+ spoken languages.
See the featureWrite what a good answer sounds like in 200 characters. Each audio response gets a match or non-match mark with the reasoning on hover, run by hand or on every new application.
See the featureSet 30 seconds of thinking time and recording starts on its own with retakes off. Or leave thinking time open and allow two retakes for candidates who fumble the first take.
See the featurePut a multiple-choice question about shift availability first, an audio question second, and a file upload for the driving licence third. Unqualified applicants drop out before they press record.
See the featureDownload any audio file from the application page, or export every transcript in a job to CSV for the hiring manager who wants a spreadsheet.
See the featureShare a review link and the other person hears the answers and reads the transcripts in their browser. No Hirevire login and no seat to pay for.
See the featureSetting up a four-question interview takes about as long as typing the four questions. The candidate side takes about as long as the answers.
In the job editor, add a question, choose Audio as the response type, and pick a time limit between one and five minutes. Add thinking time if you want candidates answering cold, or allow retakes if you would rather they polish it.
Put the interview link in the LinkedIn post, the Indeed listing, or the email you send to applicants. The candidate opens it on their phone, passes a short microphone test, and records without creating an account or picking a slot on your calendar.
Answers land in your dashboard with a transcript and an AI Review mark. Skim the text, play the two candidates worth hearing at 2x speed, and send a share link to whoever is interviewing with you.
A candidate who opens the link and leaves after the first question does not use up your allocation. Neither does one your knockout question rejects before recording.
