Connect Hirevire to Make.com

Connect Hirevire to Make.com (formerly Integromat) to automate your hiring workflows. When candidates submit applications, Make can route their data to your CRM, ATS, Slack, Google Sheets, and over 1,000 other apps without manual data entry.

Prerequisites

  • An active Hirevire account (all paid plans support webhooks)

  • A Make.com account

  • Admin access to your Hirevire organization

How the integration works

Hirevire sends application data to Make via webhooks when candidates submit their screening or when you move applications between stages. Make receives the payload and can trigger actions in connected apps.

The integration supports:

  • Candidate contact details and resume links

  • Direct video and audio response URLs

  • AI-generated transcripts

  • File uploads and text answers

  • Stage change events

Step 1: Get your Hirevire API key

  1. Go to My Account and select Integrations.

  2. In the Partners section, find Make (formerly Integromat) and click Connect.

  3. A new Hirevire API key will be generated. Copy this key for the next step.

Step 2: Create a webhook in Make

  1. Log in to Make.com and create a new scenario.

  2. Add a Webhooks module as the first step.

  3. Select Custom webhook.

  4. Click Add to generate a new webhook URL.

  5. Copy the generated webhook URL.

Step 3: Connect the webhook to Hirevire

  1. Return to Hirevire and navigate to the job you want to monitor.

  2. Click the Settings tab, then open the Webhook section.

  3. Paste the Make webhook URL into the webhook field.

  4. Select your triggers:

    • On new application: Fires when a candidate submits their screening

    • On stage change: Fires when you move an application between stages

  5. Toggle "Include answers, video urls and transcripts" to receive full application data including media links.

Without the advanced toggle enabled, webhooks only send basic applicant metadata. Video URLs and transcripts will be missing from the payload.

Step 4: Test and map the data structure

  1. In Hirevire, click Test trigger to send a sample payload to Make.

  2. Return to Make and verify the test payload appears in the webhook module.

  3. Click Determine data structure to map the payload fields.

  4. Add subsequent modules to process the data—such as creating a row in Google Sheets, sending a Slack notification, or updating your ATS.

Step 5: Activate the scenario

  1. Save your Make scenario.

  2. Click the Scheduling switch to activate it.

  3. Back in Hirevire, click Save on the webhook settings.

Your Make scenario will now receive application data automatically when candidates submit responses or when you change their stage.

Common Make scenarios

Here are popular ways to use the Hirevire–Make integration:

  • Slack notifications: Alert your hiring team when new applications arrive

  • Google Sheets logging: Create a row for each new candidate with their details and transcript summary

  • CRM sync: Add candidates to Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive automatically

  • Email routing: Send personalized follow-ups based on stage changes

  • Video archival: Download candidate videos to your cloud storage for long-term retention

Troubleshooting

Webhook payload is missing video URLs or transcripts

Enable the "Include answers, video urls and transcripts" toggle in your job's webhook settings. Basic webhooks only send applicant metadata without answer details.

Make is not receiving test payloads

Check that your Make scenario is saved and the webhook module is properly configured. In Hirevire, verify the webhook URL is correct in the job settings. Review the webhook logs in Logs > Webhooks for delivery errors.

Videos in the payload return 404 errors

Media files expire after your plan's retention period. Download videos to your own storage as soon as webhooks arrive if you need long-term access.

Transcript fields are empty

AI transcripts are included on all paid plans. Verify that transcripts are enabled in your job's question settings. If the feature is enabled but transcripts are still missing, contact Hirevire support.
