Persian language support overview

Hirevire allows you to provide a localized experience for your candidates. While the recruiter admin panel remains in English, you can fully translate the candidate-facing application process into Persian (زبان فارسی/Farsi) to better serve talent in Iran, Afghanistan (Dari speakers), and Persian-speaking diaspora communities worldwide.

The recruiter dashboard, job settings, and analytics are currently available in English only.

Right-to-left (RTL) support: Persian is automatically rendered with proper RTL text direction. When Persian is selected, the entire candidate application interface — including form fields, buttons, and system messages — adjusts to right-to-left layout for natural reading flow.

Candidate-facing Persian localization

When you enable Persian for a job, the entire candidate journey is automatically translated. This includes the following elements:

  • Application Forms: Labels and placeholders (e.g., نام for "Name," ایمیل for "Email").

  • Interview Controls: Buttons for recording, stopping, and replaying video/audio responses.

  • Instructions & Modals: Camera and microphone permission prompts and setup instructions.

  • System Messages: Error validations and submission confirmation screens.

How to enable Persian for a job

You can set the language preference on a per-job basis. This is ideal for companies hiring for specific roles in Persian-speaking regions.

  1. Navigate to the Jobs tab in your dashboard.

  2. Click on the job you want to configure.

  3. Click Set language near the share link section.

  4. Select Persian (زبان فارسی) from the dropdown menu.

  5. The page will display in Persian for candidates viewing the application link.

To localize your entire careers page, go to Profile > Careers Page > Customize and update the language setting there.

Managing bilingual workflows

Many recruiters prefer a bilingual approach (English and Persian) to accommodate a wider pool of candidates. Since the system does not auto-translate your custom text, follow these best practices:

  • Manual Question Translation: Write your screening questions in both languages (e.g., "Tell us about yourself / درباره خودتان بگویید").

  • Email Templates: Candidate notifications (invites and reminders) default to English. You can manually update these templates in your job settings to include Persian translations.

  • Candidate Language Picker: If a candidate prefers a different language, they can manually toggle between available options using the language picker located in the footer of the application page.

Privacy and data protection

Localization in Hirevire is built with privacy in mind. When Persian is enabled, candidate-facing legal links—such as the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use—remain accessible in the footer. All candidate data, including video responses and AI-generated transcripts, is protected with bank-level encryption regardless of the interface language.

AI transcripts for Persian interviews are supported. For highest accuracy, set the Transcription language to Persian (Farsi) within the job's AI settings.
