Connect an AI agent to Hirevire via MCP

Connect AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT to your Hirevire account so the agent can list candidates, read transcripts, summarize applications, and update statuses directly from your hiring pipeline. No custom plugin is required; one Hirevire MCP server URL works with any compatible agent.

Supported AI tools

The following consumer-friendly AI tools support MCP connections and can be linked to Hirevire:

  • Claude — including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and the Claude web app. Use the MCP Connector to add a custom connection with your Hirevire MCP server URL.

  • ChatGPT — connect via Apps or Connectors in ChatGPT settings using a public MCP URL.

Any other AI agent that supports the open Model Context Protocol standard will also work with the same Hirevire MCP server URL.

Prerequisites

  • An active Hirevire account

  • An AI tool that supports MCP connections

How the integration works

Hirevire exposes an MCP server that follows the open Model Context Protocol standard. The connection uses OAuth and respects your existing Hirevire account permissions. Read-only connections can browse and summarize data; write access lets the agent update application statuses.

Step 1: Copy your MCP server URL

  1. Go to My Account and select Integrations.

  2. Find the MCP section and copy your Hirevire MCP server URL.

Step 2: Add the connector to your AI tool

  1. Open your AI tool’s connector or custom integration settings.

  2. Paste the Hirevire MCP server URL into the custom connector field.

  3. Authenticate over OAuth with your Hirevire credentials.

Step 3: Ask your AI tool to work with Hirevire data

After connecting, ask your AI tool to perform actions in plain language. For example:

  • List candidates for a job

  • Read a candidate’s transcript

  • Summarize application responses

  • Update an application status

Revoke access

To disconnect an agent, go to My Account > Integrations > Connected Clients and revoke the connection with one click.
