Connect Hirevire to Greenhouse

Send Greenhouse candidates your Hirevire interview with a stage transition rule, then add a link to their answers to the Greenhouse candidate with Zapier. We don't have a native Greenhouse integration, so this setup uses Greenhouse's own candidate emails and Hirevire's public Zapier app.

Before you start

• A Greenhouse Site Admin account, or a Job Admin account with permission to manage rules. Stage transition rules are on the Greenhouse Core, Plus and Pro plans.

• A Zapier account.

• A Hirevire job with the questions you want to ask.

Send the Hirevire link from Greenhouse

A stage transition rule emails every candidate who reaches your screening stage, so nobody has to send invites by hand.

1. In Hirevire, open the job and click Copy the link in the Share this link with candidates section.

2. In Greenhouse, add the Hirevire link to a candidate email template.

3. Open the Greenhouse job and go to Job Setup, then Stage Transitions.

4. Click Create a New Rule and pick your screening stage.

5. Choose the action Send a candidate email, select the template and save the rule.

Add the answers to Greenhouse with Zapier

This Zap runs each time a candidate submits on Hirevire and adds a note to the matching Greenhouse candidate.

1. In Zapier, start a Zap with the Hirevire trigger New Application and connect your Hirevire account.

2. Add the Hirevire action Create a Shareable Application Link.

3. Add the Greenhouse search Find Candidate and look up the candidate by their email address.

4. Add the Greenhouse action Create Candidate Note and put the shareable link in the note.

5. Turn the Zap on.

The shareable link opens the candidate's answers without a Hirevire login, so hiring managers who only use Greenhouse can watch the videos.
